The Provincial High Court of Bizkaia sentenced Nelson David M.G., 29, known as the "male killer" of Bilbao, to 24 years in prison for killing a 73-year-old man he had contacted through a dating application and, after the crime, transferring 3,000 euros from the victim's bank account.
The jury found him guilty and the judge had to set the penalty.
