In the 1st phase of the competition for access to the Superior, 1,625 students were placed in step A of school social action, about 3% of the total students placed (about 50,000).
More than 1,600 students from needy families have obtained a place in higher education this year. In all, 1,625 students were placed in the A-level of school social action, more than 100 more than last year.
Around 600 have already applied for the new incentive grant intended for poorer students entering a university or polytechnic this year.
They represent 3% of the total number of placements in the 1. phase.
