Mexico lost ground in learning over the last decade. PISA 2025 results show a 22 point drop in mathematics and 15 in reading compared to 2015, while science recorded a smaller decrease, of five points. Mexican students scored in 2025 414 points in science, 408 in reading and 388 points in science.
