Over the past three years, the number of 15-year-olds who do not reach the minimum level of reading, science and mathematics performance has grown.

The country was among the last of the international assessment: 76 per cent of the students did not reach the basic level in Mathematics, and the results in Reading and Science fell from 2022. The Government attributed the deterioration to previous efforts.

The country obtained 393 points in Science, 389 in Reading and 367 in Mathematics, with setbacks of 13, 12 and 11 points compared to 2022. Almost half of the 15 year old students had simultaneous low performance in all three areas. Argentina recorded their worst results in the tests...
