Enter Camp Randall: Metallica Coming to Madison
Limp Bizkit and Avatar will open the show, and a portion of ticket proceeds will support Metallica’s All Within My Hands foundation.
On Wednesday, Metallica announced it will perform at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison on June 12, 2027, marking the band's first Wisconsin show since 2018.
The concert marks the third-straight summer of live music at Camp Randall Stadium following 2025 performances by Morgan Wallen and Coldplay, as the venue resumed hosting major events in 2024.
Supporting the group are Limp Bizkit and Avatar, while ticket proceeds benefit the All Within My Hands Foundation, which has provided $19 million in grants for workforce education and disaster relief.
Fan Club presales begin Monday, September 21 at 10 a.m., followed by local presales Thursday, September 24, before general public sales open Friday, September 25 on the UW Badgers website.
The M72 World Tour, celebrating the band's 11th studio album '72 Seasons,' has played 99 shows across 26 countries since 2023, with this North American stadium run extending the tour into 2027.
