Metallica M72 World Tour Coming to El Paso
The new stadium run extends the band’s M72 world tour into 2027, with presales starting Sept. 21 and a portion of ticket proceeds aiding charities.
- On Wednesday, the UTEP Special Events Center announced that Metallica will bring its M72 World Tour to El Paso, Texas, for a performance at Sun Bowl Stadium on May 18, 2027.
- Following a residency at Sphere in Las Vegas that concludes in March 2027, the M72 World Tour will resume May 8, 2027, after having reached nearly five million fans across 99 shows since April 2023.
- Supporting acts Limp Bizkit and Avatar will join the 2027 North American run, while a portion of ticket proceeds supports Metallica's All Within My Hands foundation, which has provided $19 million in grants for workforce education and disaster relief.
- Fan club pre-sales for the newly added dates begin Monday, September 21, at 10 a.m. local time. General tickets go on sale Friday, September 25.
- Spanning the American southwest and midwest, the 2027 leg visits a dozen new cities and concludes June 19, 2027, with a final performance at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City.
