The Ministry of Digital Affairs has released correspondence with Meta regarding the flood of fraudulent ads on Facebook and Instagram. Although the giant reports that it has removed 137,000 violating ads in Poland, Deputy Prime Minister Krzysztof Gawkowski expressed disappointment with the company's response.
Krzysztof Gawkowski admitted that he was unsatisfied with Meta's response to his letter. He was referring to fake ads featuring celebrities posted on Facebook and Instagram. The Minister of Digital Affairs, Rafał Brzoska, responded to the action, thanking him for his actions in this matter.
