Massive fire draws firefighters to Ohio in Bureau County

Fire departments from Bureau County and Sauk Valley were dispatched to a large fire on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 in the 200 block of Elm Street in Ohio. The fire occurred in the 200 block of Elm Street. A Mutual Aid Box Alarm was raised to the second level, prompting fire departments as far as Rock Falls and Amboy to be called to the scene.
