The European Championship silver medalist also broke the women's course record in the Warsaw competition.
Kenyan Stephen Kibor won the 48th Warsaw Marathon in 2:09:19. The fastest woman was Lili Anna Vindics-Toth, who broke the Hungarian record to 2:24:48. A total of 14,000 runners registered for the event. The last marathon runners will reach the finish line at approximately 3:30 p.m.
Kenyan Stephen Kibor won the 48th Warsaw Marathon with a time of 2:09.19, setting a new personal best. In the women's competition, Lili Anna Vindics-Toth emerged victorious, not only breaking the Hungarian record but also setting a new event record. This year's marathon was held with the prestigious World Athletics Elite certification.
Lili Anna Vindics-Tóth won the women's marathon in Warsaw with a new national record of 2:24:48, thus surpassing the national record set by Nóra Szabó in Valencia in December 2024.
