- Lightning is suspected as the cause of the Agate Mountain blaze, which was identified Monday night, Aug. 24.
- Two separate wildfires northwest of Princeton near Tulameen remain out of control, with the northernmost measuring 3.89 hectares and the adjacent blaze 12.17 hectares.
- There are currently 165 active wildfires in the province, with 56 out of control, 53 being held, and 56 under control.
