Ligers' season ends in close loss to Urbank in 11C Tournament

PERHAM — The final day of the Region 11C Tournament started with an elimination bracket game between the Detroit Lakes Liges and Urbank-Parker Prairie Bombers on Saturday, Aug. 15. The fans at Tuffy Stadium in Perham were treated to a down-to-the-wire game. In the end, the Bombers moved on to the final behind a 2-1 victory, ending the Ligers' season.
