In the first six months of 2025, 53 cases of Lyme disease have been confirmed in the Republic of Moldova, showing the data of the National Public Health Agency. Most patients have been registered in the municipality of Chišinau – 25 cases followed by the Sršeni, Ialovian and Orhei regions. Among those infected, 10 are children under 17 years of age.
