Jones Lake State Park to unveil mural honoring its history

ELIZABETHTOWN, NC (WWAY) — Jones Lake State Park will unveil a new mural Thursday celebrating an important part of the park’s history. The mural, painted by artist Bess Taylor, honors Jones Lake State Park as the first unit of the North Carolina state parks system to welcome Black visitors.
