Jon Stewart and Pete Davidson Announce NYC Still Rising 9/11 Comedy Benefit at Madison Square Garden
The phone-free event will feature Aziz Ansari, Bill Burr and Dave Chappelle, with proceeds supporting 9/11 charities.
Comedian Jon Stewart and actor Pete Davidson will host 'NYC Still Rising After 25 Years: A 9/11 Comedy Benefit' at Madison Square Garden on September 10, marking the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.
The show serves as a revival of the 2021 benefit 'NYC Still Rising After 20 Years,' which Stewart and Davidson launched five years ago to honor New York City's resilience and support 9/11 charities.
Performers include A-list comedians Aziz Ansari, Bill Burr, Dave Chappelle, Ronny Chieng, Nikki Glaser, and Josh Johnson, with additional special guests to be announced for the phone-free evening.
Tickets for the phone-free event go on sale to the public Friday, July 31, at 10 a.m. ET via Ticketmaster, with early presales starting Wednesday, July 29.
Stewart has long been a fierce advocate for 9/11 first responders, fighting for health care and financial compensation through his work on the Zadroga Act and Capitol Hill advocacy for the World Trade Center Health Program.
