Jail term for man who stole cordless drills in Portadown

John Gerard Ward (30), of Ardowen in Craigavon, admitted theft which occurred on April 18 last year. The defendant had been on a suspended sentence. He appeared at court via video link from Craigavon Magistrates’ Court. A co-defendant was previously given a one year conditional discharge.
