Swedish police have arrested a Norwegian man in connection with the disappearance of Anne Elisabeth Hagen, one of Norway's richest women, who disappeared without a trace from her home in Lørenskógur, near Oslo, in 2018. The man was not arrested in connection with the case, but rather on suspicion of extensive drug offenses.
"We can confirm that a man was arrested in Sweden on Tuesday evening in connection with an investigation led by Kripos," says Ingvild Myrold, a prosecutor at Kripos in Norway, in an interview with the Norwegian newspaper VG today.
This spring, the man learned that he had been charged after Anne-Elisabeth Hagen disappeared in 2018. Now he has been arrested in another case.
The arrest is in connection with another case.
