The City Council of Funchal unanimously approved this Thursday the proposal to amend the tourist tax regulation, which provides for the doubling of the amount charged for sleeping. As Jorge Carvalho told the journalists, the proposal now follows for public discussion for 30 days, before proceeding to the next stage of the process. The aim is that the charge of the four euros for sleeping advance from January.
