Cumbia singer Andy Torres Zamora was killed with almost seven shots while performing on a second floor in Huaycán, Ate. Two undercover subjects shot him in the head and fled along Andrés Avelino Cáceres Avenue. His 29-year-old animator, Edison Peceros, was injured. The former cop and rising artist would not have reported any threats. A possible extortion is being investigated.
The event occurred around 11:00 p.m. during a birthday celebration in Huaycán. The animator accompanying the artist was also injured.
