Huawei Kirin 9050 Pro revives flagship chip launches with reported LogicFolding architecture in Mate XT 2
- On Monday, Huawei unveiled the Mate XT 2, the first device powered by the Kirin 9050 Pro chip, launching two days before Apple is expected to reveal its first foldable iPhone.
- Huawei claims the Kirin 9050 Pro delivers 42% higher overall performance than its predecessor through tighter integration between hardware, software, and cloud systems, supported by the Da Vinci Architecture NPU.
- Engineered with the Xuanwu Ultra-Durable Tri-Fold Architecture, the device features the Advanced Precision Hinge System 2.0 with a 5 curved arm structure and IP58/59 dust and water resistance certification.
- Photography capabilities include the True-to-Color Camera 3.0, improving color accuracy by 95%, while HarmonyOS 7 powers the large-screen experience with Live-Multitask and the Smart Shield Privacy Screen.
