FDA Recalls Alcoholic High Noon Cans Mislabeled as Celsius Energy Drinks
FLORIDA, NEW YORK, OHIO, SOUTH CAROLINA, VIRGINIA, AND WISCONSIN, JUL 30 – High Noon recalled mislabeled vodka seltzer cans shipped to six states to prevent unintentional alcohol consumption, with no reported illnesses so far, company said.
- On July 29, 2025, High Noon announced a voluntary recall of two lots of its Beach Variety 12-packs after some cans contained vodka seltzer but were mislabeled as CELSIUS ASTRO VIBE energy drinks.
- High Noon found a shared packaging supplier mistakenly shipped empty Celsius cans, causing vodka seltzer to be filled into energy drink cans.
- Between July 21 and 23, 2025, affected packs were shipped to distributors in eight states and retailers in six states, carrying UPC codes 0850000040065 and 8939200134.
- The FDA warns drinking the mislabeled cans can result in unintentional alcohol ingestion, but no illnesses or adverse events have been reported to date.
- Anyone with affected Celsius Astro Vibe Sparkling Blue Razz Edition cans should verify lot codes L CCB 02JL25 , dispose of impacted cans, and contact High Noon Consumer Relations for refunds.
