Altadena residents say the 500-pound bear that made headlines last year after taking up residence under a home has apparently returned to the neighborhood in search of another shelter.
A 250-pound bear that became famous in November 2025 when it took up residence under a house in Altadena is once again roaming a Los Angeles neighborhood after moving into the basement of another apartment building and then leaving it again.
