In Gospić, Croatia, several hundred people protested against the illegal dumping of hazardous waste in Lika. They carried banners reading "They betrayed Lika and turned it into black", "They poisoned the water, the soil and the air" and "If we save Lika, we save Croatia".
The Deputy of the Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund also commented on the hazardous waste affair.
