Gardaí appeal for witnesses after woman, 30s, seriously injured in Dublin assault
A family liaison officer has been appointed, and Gardaí are seeking dashcam or video footage from anyone near the scene.
- Three people were hospitalized with serious injuries after separate assaults in Dublin, Sligo, and Galway. A woman in her 30s was attacked near Main Street, Belmayne, Dublin 13, shortly after 3:40pm on Monday.
- Separately, a man in his 30s remains in critical condition at Beaumont Hospital following an assault on Adelaide Street, Sligo, on Monday evening. The victim sustained serious injuries during the incident.
- Gardaí in Galway are investigating a Sunday assault on Monivea Road. A man in his 40s was hospitalized at University Hospital Galway after being injured by an assailant using a weapon, understood to be a slash hook.
- A Family Liaison Officer has been appointed to support those affected. Investigating Gardaí have conducted technical examinations at the scenes and are appealing for witness information.
