Former elite cyclist and EF Education-Easypost team manager Jonathan Vaughters believes the death of 19-year-old Briton Finlay Tarling highlights the safety risks of smaller cycling events. He says such accidents cannot be considered an inevitable part of road cycling.
After the tragic death of British bike talent Finlay Tarling, the Portuguese prosecutor's office has opened an investigation.
The process will be instituted at the Public Prosecutor's Office of Ponte de Lima, where the cyclist was fatally hit.
