The BBC spoke to two alleged victims of Christian Negre, a former French official accused of secretly giving women diuretics and then making them urinate in front of him. In nine years, Negre's actions could have affected more than 200 women. The official was charged back in 2019, but even seven years later, his case did not go to court — it is assumed that this is due to the huge number of victims.
A French civil servant is being prosecuted for allegedly providing female job applicants with diuretics for years. The case came to light as early as 2018. Two victims are now seeking publicity.
