Former F1 driver Nikita Mazepin has returned to European motorsport following the lifting of restrictions on Russian drivers by the FIA (International Automobile Federation). Mazepin competed in the Spezial Tourenwagen Trophy (STT) held at Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium with Team Motopark. Driving a Mercedes-AMG GT3, he secured pole position in qualifying, beating the second-placed driver by a significant margin of approximately four seconds.
