The 23-year-old man was arrested in flagrante delicto after forcing entry into the former companion's house and physically assaulting her. The man, of foreign nationality, was held in pre-trial detention.
A man and a woman were arrested after stealing personal belongings from a house in Beja and then fleeing on an electric motorcycle. After being caught by the PSP, the belongings were returned to the owner - they consisted of a mobile phone, about ten euros, a wallet and cards, among other objects.
In a statement, the Beja District Command of the PSP indicated that the detainee is a suspect in the practice of the crime of domestic violence, of which a 39-year-old woman was a victim, without specifying what kind of relationship existed between the two.
