House settlement allows UMD hockey to increase scholarships

The Bulldogs men's and women's hockey programs will increase the number of full scholarships each of the next three seasons and start giving out academic achievement awards in 2025-26.

Fischer and Stachowiak Named 2024-25 ACHA All-American Scholars - UMD Athletics

University of Minnesota Duluth men's hockey players Braden Fischer and Trevor Stachowiak have been named American Hockey Coaches Association All-American Scholars for maintaining at least 3.75 GPA in each semester of the season. In addition to their academic achievements, players had to appear in at least 40% of their team's games, with an exception for injured players and back-up goaltenders.
