Burnsville, Minnesota · BurnsvilleBURNSVILLE, Minn. — Minnesota Duluth was selected to finish third overall in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference football standings, according to the annual NSIC preseason coaches’ poll, released Tuesday. Lake Placid, New York · Lake PlacidDULUTH, Minn.- UMD forward Mary Kate O’Brien will officially don the red, white, and blue. On Sunday, she was named to the 2025 U.S. Collegiate Select Team. She’ll suit up for Team USA in their three-game series against Canada later this week. She’s the first Bulldog since Mannon McMahon in 2023 to be named to the U.S. Collegiate Select Team.

Duluth, Minnesota · DuluthDULUTH, Minn.- Both UMD quarterback Kyle Walljasper and wideout Deshaun Ames have been named to the D2Football.com Elite 100 watch list. It’s the 2nd straight year UMD has had two players named to the list as Sam Pitz and Aiden Williams made it last year. Both players were all-conference last season in the NSIC.
