Fire restrictions lowered to Stage 1 on Tahoe National Forest

The change allows campfires only in provided fire rings or charcoal grills at developed sites while keeping other fire and smoking limits through Oct. 31.

NEVADA CITY, Calif. — Tahoe National Forest has reduced fire restrictions from Stage 2 to Stage 1 effective today, Sept. 28.
