A fire broke out this morning at the Martyr Sergeant Lokman Çoban Primary and Secondary School in Yüksekova district of Hakkari. The fire, which was brought under control after approximately 4 hours of intervention, is currently undergoing cooling operations.
The fire in the school building, which has not been used for 3 years in the village of Daglica in the Yüksekova district of Hakkari, was extinguished by the work of fire brigades for about 4 hours. All parts of the building were damaged in the fire; one citizen lowered the Turkish flag on the pole and took it to safety.
