Ex-world snooker champion Graeme Dott guilty of child sex abuse
Jurors heard testimony from both victims before finding the former world champion guilty of two counts of lewd, indecent and libidinous behaviour.

- Prosecutor Lindsey Dalziel led the case, presenting evidence of Dott's behaviour across decades. Defense lawyer Euan Dow urged acquittal, but jurors rejected his arguments and delivered the guilty verdict.
- Dott turned professional in 1994 and won the 2006 World Snooker Championship at the Crucible in Sheffield, defeating Peter Ebdon. He also reached finals against Ronnie O'Sullivan and Neil Robertson.
