The concrete values of wage claims will only be known at the press conference that is taking place today at the headquarters of Fesap in Lisbon, where the claim book for 2027 will be presented with contributions to the State budget.
The civil service's pay base is expected to rise to €995.51 next year, but there is pressure for the increase to go much further. Inflation, housing and cost of living are some of the arguments for requiring a high revision.
The Secretary-General of the Federation of Public Administration Unions (Fesap) argues that the remuneration base in the civil service should continue to be increased, considering that it should go beyond EUR 1,030 next year.
