Murat Emir, a member of the NEW Party, recounted striking allegations regarding the events surrounding the deputy mayor elections in Üsküdar Municipality. He stated that a council member was persuaded to vote for the AKP with the promise of "we will bring in your son who was convicted of being a member of the KCK."
