- Maharashtra had 9.79 crore electors before the SIR, though the draft roll published August 31 contained 7.72 crore names, as enumeration forms could not be collected from 2.07 crore individuals.
- As of September 24, notices had been generated for 1.18 crore electors, though 3.91 lakh notices remained pending, with Pune and Nagpur recording the highest counts.
- Under the revised schedule, electors can submit claims, suggestions, and objections until October 12, while the qualifying date for the electoral roll remains October 1, 2026.
