- Among roughly 1.45 crore total electors, 97.5 lakh were included in the draft roll, while around 47.5 lakh were classified as "Uncollectible." after BLOs found them absent, shifted, or deceased.
- Even as the Commission claims the Supreme Court endorsed its declaration form requirement, Election Commissioners Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Vivek Joshi raised objections; the Commission maintains discretion despite questions regarding the legal basis.
