HAVANA (AP) — Former Cuban President Raúl Castro reappeared in public at a military event that celebrated the anniversary of an army branch responsible for protecting its top leaders.
“An honor to participate with the General of Army in the event for the 65th anniversary of the Directorate of Personal Security, which had its origins long before September 6, 1961, since the times of the revolutionary struggle led by the Commander-in-Chief,” the Cuban head of state said.
