Construction output reached a record €788 million in June 2026, but the growth rate was the slowest in 14 years.
The construction industry is starting to have problems. Production in the sector in June 2026 reached almost 788 million euros and, after adjusting for the impact of inflation, increased by one percent in real terms year-on-year. The Statistical Office reported that this was the slowest year-on-year growth in the current year and also the weakest June pace of the year.
