Calgary home sales fall 16% in August, prices also down year-over-year: board

- Apartment-Style homes fell 8.2 per cent to $295,400 and row-style properties dropped 5.4 per cent to $415,200, while Detached prices slid 1.1 per cent to $744,300 and semi-detached prices rose one per cent to $690,500.
- Although lower-end activity slowed, Lurie explained that sales have been growing in the upper end of the market thanks to improved supply, indicating a split in housing demand.
