Bybit Snags UAE’s Virtual Asset Platform Operator License From Securities and Commodities Authority

- After navigating Dubai's VARA framework, Bybit obtained full licensing following In-Principle Approval earlier this year, with assistance from the Blockchain Centre, Abu Dhabi.
- With the licence, Bybit plans to establish a larger regional operations centre in Abu Dhabi and hire over 500 staff across Abu Dhabi and Dubai to support compliance and operations.
