- Separately, Family-owned Stonier Wines purchased Seppelt Wines from Treasury Wine Estates as part of a broader corporate restructuring reducing the portfolio from 76 wine brands to fewer than 20 holdings.
- Stonier chief executive officer Aaron Drummond confirmed production will resume at the Great Western winery, dormant since 2014, with plans to utilize historic underground cellars for sparkling wine storage.
- Despite the wine industry facing what Drummond called the "toughest cycle" in decades, he remains optimistic about premium wine growth, emphasizing that "trying to make better wine" matters more than volume.
