Body found behind Brookhaven business identified as area homeless man - Daily Leader
The body of a man found Monday behind a Brookhaven business has been positively identified. The office of Lincoln County Coroner Blake Wallace identified the man as Anthony Nations. Nations, a homeless man known by many as “Uncle Tony,” was 50 years old and died of natural causes. A man found dead in an alley in Brookhaven Monday has been identified, according to Lincoln County Coroner Blake Wallace. Anthony “Uncle Tony” Nations was found in a narrow alley off Brookway Boulevard on Monday, officials said. Police Chief Dustin Bairfield said a business owner called 911 Monday morning when he found what appeared to be a man in a narrow alleyway between two buildings.
