McComb · McCombMCCOMB, Miss. (WJTV) - A McComb police officer was shot and killed, according to the city's mayor. The Enterprise Journal reported the shooting occurred at a home off of Highway 44 near Cole Thomas Road on Tuesday, August 5. McComb Mayor Quordiniah Lockley told the newspaper that two people, including the officer, were killed and another person was injured.
