Dominique Zinkpè is one of the figures of Benin's contemporary art. Yet, nothing really meant for him to become an artist. Born in Cotonou in 1969, passed through a sewing school, largely self-taught, he learns painting in books before building a singular universe, between painting, drawing, sculpture and assembly.
