The University of Minnesota Duluth softball team split in two matches on Saturday, starting with a tough 9-1 loss to Central Oklahoma before bouncing back with a narrow 8-7 victory over Fort Hays State University.

Ichabods split 2nd day action at Midwest College Classic

SHAWNEE, Kan. - The Washburn Ichabod softball team split its Friday action at the Midwest College Classic falling 8-4 in the opener to Minnesota Duluth before rebounding in the nightcap topping Bemidji State 9-3. The Ichabods will return to action with two more games on Saturday facing Southwest Baptist at 10 am and Minnesota State at 12:15 pm.
