Bank of America maintained its recommendation to buy on the stock and raised its target price to 380 dollars, or about 325 euros. The bank anticipated an increased risk taking under its leadership, with possible acquisitions.
In 15 years at the head of the group, Mr. Cook will have seen Apple's market valuation multiplied by about fourteen, from $350 billion when it arrived in August 2011 to nearly $5 trillion today.
