Born and raised in Kazakhstan, Azerbaijani Zeinab Mamedova came to Lithuania when she was nine. Then the girl started attending a Lithuanian school in the Utena district. After just a few months, Zeinab spoke perfect Lithuanian, and when she graduated from high school, she received a 100 for her Lithuanian essay. Other grades were also so high that the girl entered medicine. “I think in Lithuanian,” she said.
