Automobile exports in July reached $6.24 billion, the highest figure ever recorded for the month of July. Exports of eco-friendly vehicles grew by 25.5%, leading the growth, while demand in major markets such as North America and the EU supported stable performance. Production and domestic sales also showed a simultaneous increase due to an increase in working days resulting from changes in summer vacation schedules.

In China, new energy vehicles (NEVs) accounted for a record 65.1 percent of total passenger car retail sales in July. According to data from the China Passenger Car Association, this represents an increase of 11.6 percentage points compared to the same month last year, and 2.1 percentage points compared to the previous month.
