Leaked: Audi A2 E-Tron Gets Revealed In All Its Retro-Modern Quirky Glory Before It Was Supposed To
- Audi has revived the A2 nameplate for a new all-electric hatchback, starting at £32,200 in the UK and offering up to 401 miles of range. Audi CEO Gernot Döllner said the model makes electric ownership "more relevant than ever."
- Engineered for aerodynamic efficiency with a 0.24 drag coefficient, the A2 is built at Audi's Ingolstadt factory using more than 1,200 pieces of existing equipment and incorporates over 300 recycled components.
- Three battery options deliver power outputs ranging from 168bhp to 322bhp, with the longest-legged model claiming 401 miles of range. A 10 to 80 per cent rapid charge takes 24 to 29 minutes depending on configuration.
- Cabin features include a Fidlock accessory mounting system and Vehicle-to-Load technology for powering external devices. A 12.8-inch central touchscreen and optional 14-speaker, 660W Sonos audio system complete the interior.
- UK order books open in October with first deliveries expected early in 2027. Audi seeks Electric Car Grant approval to potentially reduce the £32,200 entry price to £30,700, expanding accessibility further.
