The Danish elite stocks have started a new trading day, with the C25 index starting the day down 0.65%. The oil price continues to rise, and in global markets, investors are in a wait-and-see mood ahead of Thursday's ECB interest rate meeting and US inflation figures on Friday.

Denmark's largest energy company Andel has sold 22.8 million shares in wind power company Örsted at a price of 135.50 Danish crowns per share, equivalent to just under 3.1 billion Danish crowns, according to Marketwire. The stock falls in the stock market opening on Wednesday.
